Up to 3 in Rounds 1–5 if requested at least 1 hour before round (before Rd. 2 for any Rd. 4–5 bye), but at most one ½-point bye in Rds. 4–5. No ½-point byes available to any UMBC team prospect. |

Any UMBC student who wishes to qualify for the UMBC Chess Team for the 2024-2025 academic year must play in the Open Section of the UMBC Championship.
Directions to UMBC: Take Exit 47B off I-95 and follow signs to UMBC. Park in Commons Drive garage.
